Dr. Kiersten McLeod

A Chiropractic Childhood

Dr. Kiersten McLeod grew up in Three Rivers, Michigan, where her father is a chiropractor. Just hours after being born, she received her first chiropractic adjustment and grew up a “chiropractic kid”. She attributes her health and well-being to the holistic lifestyle in which she was raised.

The philosophy of chiropractic and nurturing the body’s own healing ability was engrained in her at a very young age.

Following high school, Dr. McLeod graduated with honors from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. GO GREEN!

She then attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. Dr. McLeod graduated Magna Cum Laude in February 2012 with her Doctorate in Chiropractic.

While at Palmer, Dr. McLeod had the incredible opportunity to travel to Vietnam with 30 student doctors and 4 faculty to provide chiropractic care to the underserved population. Over 4,000 patients were cared for and the trip was a life-changing experience for everyone involved. During her last 4 months at Palmer, Dr. McLeod interned at a chiropractic wellness center in South Florida. Following graduation from Palmer, Dr. McLeod practiced in Michigan with her father for several months. She then moved to the Sunshine State to continue her career in Gainesville, FL.

Dr. McLeod has cared for patients from 3 days old to 97 years old and loves providing chiropractic care to the whole family. She is Advanced Proficiency Rated in Activator Methods, a low force instrument adjusting technique. She is also a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and is certified in the Webster Technique.

Dr. McLeod loves living in the warm Florida climate and enjoys golfing, all water-related activities, especially slalom skiing, and staying active! She is also an avid sports fan and loves attending almost any sporting event… and of course, cheering on the Michigan State Spartans from afar.
